Hey guys its been forever since we have updated this thing. Im sorry its my job and i slacked.

Ok new things

1. Full length "Calling Vacation Home" out now on New School Records, pick it up or order it from; Best Buy, Target, Tower Records, Virign Records, Wal Mart, Amazon.com or Interpunk.com

2. Cade (our bass player) had to move from Jacksonville, we love him very much and miss him.

3. James is taking over bass for us, we love him and hope for all of you to meet him

4. We have also added a keyboard player, Josh, everyone should be his friend

5. A bunch of new shows have been added for the start of the year, head over to www.myhostagemusic.com or www.myspace.com/myhostage for all the updates

6. New website and merch should be up very soon

we leave to record our full length in a couple of days, its called "Calling Vacation Home" and will be out on New School Records later this year.

Also planning a 6 day Florida tour w/ Upper Class Trash in August some dates are already up on the site

Also another East Coast tour with Shadow Agency before the year is out

Hey guys quick update


the last few shows have been amazing thanks to everyone that has come out and watched us bought us a drink ro just said hi.

This month we wont be playing any shows we will be finishing writing a few new songs so we can play them on our east coast tour in june

those dates are rolling in now check the site for them all and see if we will be playing near you.

My Hostage needs a show in Pensacola can anyone help?

Ok people we have some bad news... we will not be playing in St Augustine, Fl this friday (june 8th) We are very sorry but due to our drummer (Chase) hurting his back and taking a trip to the E.R today we figure its for the best to let him rest for a week or so. As of right now this is the only show we must skip. However we will have to wait and see what tomorrow holds. Everyone pray for Chases back and wish him the best. Hope to see all the kids that were coming to St Augustine sometime soon, we will be there to make up for missing it. I hope everyone still goes because Blackwater and The Uprise are amazing bands.

Also dont forget next weekend we will be in Atl and Dublin, Ga check out the site for more info on these shows or to leave Chase some love on our message board. Thank you and once again were sorry.

well the cd is recorded, well at least our part is done, Now it must be mixed and mastered. So keep your head up everyone will get to hear it soon. Thanks a ton to EC for doing a great job and just being rad. We are gonna be playing alot of shows over the next few months and well be hitting the road here and there so keep checking on our tour dates, we plan on making to each and every city asap.
